Applying for a place

Dovecote is a community school and as such the Local Authority, Nottingham City Council, co-ordinates applications for places in Reception and for transfers from other schools (an in-year transfer).

However, if you would like your child to attend our Nursery, you should apply directly to the school.

The number of pupils that we can admit in each year group (our PAN) currently stands at 60 pupils for each year.

Applying for a place in Reception

Parents/carers resident in Nottingham City need to apply to the Local Authority and complete an application form. This can be done by clicking the button below.

30 Hours Funded Places

If you think your child qualifies for 30 hours free childcare, then please visit the government website to complete the online application form. Once your application has been approved, they will send you a code. We need your code, along with your national insurance number in order for your child to start with us full time. Your information needs re-confirming each term, to retain your code and full time space. Failure to do this will result in your funding being stopped by the government. Full-time places are subject to there being space.
