Thriving Together

Dovecote Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school in Clifton, Nottingham, where children are at the heart of everything we do.

Our aim is simple: for every child to thrive. We want our children to feel happy, safe and valued, while developing the knowledge, confidence and curiosity they need for the future.

Our school is built around three key principles:

Knowledge
We provide a rich and ambitious curriculum that gives every child the opportunity to learn, achieve and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Nurture
We know that children learn best when they feel safe, supported and understood. We value every child as an individual and work together with families to help them grow in confidence and independence.

Enrichment
Learning extends beyond the classroom. We provide experiences and opportunities that help children discover new interests, develop their talents and understand the wider world around them.

Together, our children, families, staff and wider community make Dovecote a place where everyone belongs and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
