Curriculum in Years 1–6
Children in Years 1 to 6 follow the programmes of study set out in the National Curriculum.
Our curriculum is designed to build children's knowledge and skills as they progress through school, while providing opportunities for enrichment, personal development and learning beyond the classroom.
Core Subjects
The core National Curriculum subjects are:

Foundation and Wider Curriculum
Children also study:
- Art and Design
- Computing
- Design and Technology
- Geography
- History
- Languages — Spanish is taught in Key Stage 2
- Music
- Physical Education
- Religious Education — following the Nottingham City Agreed Syllabus
- Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)
- Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)

We value parents and carers as partners in their child's education and encourage regular communication between home and school.
We share children's learning, successes and achievements through ClassDojo and our school communication channels.
