Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Dovecote Primary School is committed to being an inclusive school where every child is valued, supported and given the opportunity to thrive.

We recognise that children may have different needs at different times. We work closely with children, parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support to help children participate fully in school life and make progress in their learning.

Our SENCO

Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is Mrs Scott.

If you have concerns about your child's learning, development or additional needs, please speak to your child's class teacher or contact the school office. Mrs Scott can then work with you, your child and school staff to consider what support may be appropriate.

Where appropriate, the school may also work with external professionals and services to provide further advice and support.
